Art Journal - Prompt *3*
Welcome to the new home of My Life...Remembered.
I decided a while ago to pull the prompts off my blog on to their own space so I can utilize my blog more for my own stuff. This also made every one's art the pure focus as was my intention to begin with.
This blog will change a bit as I decide what to add, change, and fine tune with time. So hang in there with me as we explore together :)
Now onto this weeks Art Journal Prompt.
This week's art journal prompt stems from a dilemma I am dealing with currently. There are many days, more than I care to count, where at the end of the night I ask myself "What did I DO today?" More often than not I find myself questioning the many hats or masks I wear.
I say masks because I believe in all HONESTY we act and react differently in EVERY given situation. For example: Dealing with an overcharge on my cable bill forces me to put on the Intelligent, No BULLSHIT, fix this problem or deal with the mega b*&^ch mask, or fixing an owwy my 3 year old gets calls for the sweet comforting Mommy mask.
Every situation = a different mask.
Some days I feel like I might have the worlds biggest invisible accessory collection ;)
Your prompt if you choose to accept it is:
Document an entire day of you.
What you do, what masks do YOU wear.
Then create art journal entry using....
MASKS.
Not actual masks but the technique of using an image and applying paint, ink, crayon, colored pencil, etc. over it then removing it to leave the negative image.
Many of you know Heidi Swapp masks. (I have never used them.)
Experiment.
Use objects that emulate your documented day.
Be creative.
All creations need to be sent to me or linked by Saturday. (Giving you an extra day for my lateness)
Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
Ready.
Set.
Document.
